Plays by Young Writers
Thanks to everyone who attended our festival at the Lyceum Theatre! This year was a huge success, thanks to our amazing cast, crew, and audiences–we hope to see you next year!
Playwrights Project produced its 26th Season of Plays by Young Writers at the Lyceum Theatre April 1-10, which featured winning scripts from its statewide playwriting contest. This year’s festival had a new twist–Plays by Young Writers rotated with a full production of a play from another one of Playwrights Project’s programs – Telling Stories: Giving Voice to Foster Youth. The new play, entitled Switch, was a multi-faceted exploration of the changes which constantly surround youth and adults involved in the foster care system.
